Student Performances Theory We are in the process of planning Music Theory and Music History Classes. Please contact Education & Outreach Coor. Victoria Smith at 781-942-9600 to inquire about these classes and to let us know what interests you may have. Creative Arts participates in the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music theory exams. Contact the office at 781-942-9600 for more information. [top] Recitals Year-end music recitals are held in May each year. Typically instructors will hold an individual studio recital or combine with one or more other instructors. Please check with your instructor for the date and time of your recital. When possible, information will also be posted on this portion of the website. [top] Certificate Program Students enrolled in private music lessons who desire to make a serious commitment to their musical education are encouraged to enroll in the Certificate Program. Students who successfully complete the program level in which they enrolled will be recognized for their achievement with a certificate during the Annual Spring Arts Night & Reception of the year in which they qualify. Levels are: Bronze, Silver & Gold. Speak to Educ. & Outreach Coor. Victoria Smith for more details. [top] Perform-a-thon Join us for a day of music while raising funds for new programming, instrument upkeep, technology and financial aid! The Annual Perform-a-thon is a free community event, donations are greatly accepted, sponsors welcomed, and students are also encouraged to collect pledges for their performance. This year the Perform-a-thon will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011. [top] Fees/Discounts Private Lessons & Early Childhood Music Classes: 5% discount for the second student/instrument, 10% discount for the 3rd & subsequent enrollments in one family. Discounts taken off the second highest tuition. There are no family discounts on groups or other classes. [top] |
